Water Collection System

A rainwater collection system is one of the easiest ways to save on the water bill. All that's need is a roof on a house, a barrel to store the water and a few mechanical equipement (a pump).

These systems can store many gallons over the year depending on how much rain fall is accumulated. One inch of rain can accumulate to 600 gallons for every thousand square feet.

Example: Lets say your area of the roof is two thousand square feet, with an accumulated rainfall of 15 inches each year.

2 x 600 x 15 = 18,000 gallons of water each year.

For me it just doesn't get any easier than that to start saving on your next energy bill!
